Located just a 6-minute stroll from the enchanting Kachikachi-yama Ropeway, Ichifujiso pleasantly surprised us with its blend of traditional charm and modern comforts. The tatami-floored room we stayed in was not just spacious, but also provided a mesmerizing view of Mount Fuji, making our stay truly unforgettable. The hosts, though not fluent in English, exuded warmth and generosity, offering us a lift to the bus station and ensuring our green tea cups were always full.Healthy homemade meals were a highlight of our dining experience; fresh vegetables straight from the garden adorned our plates for both dinner and breakfast. The atmosphere of the ryokan was serene, with a cozy seating area where we could unwind after a day of exploring the picturesque surroundings. And who could resist slipping into a yukata robe and enjoying a cup of green tea in the comfort of our traditional room? the convenience of a nearby store and bicycle rental shop made exploring the area a breeze. With free WiFi and air conditioning in every room, Ichifujiso seamlessly combines authentic Japanese hospitality with modern amenities. As a seasoned culinary critic, this ryokan's attention to detail in their meals truly impressed me, reflecting a genuine passion for serving memorable dining experiences.
